As we entered the church, the children were full of excitement as to what animals they would encounter.

From the very start, the Creature Teachers were very impressed with our animal knowledge about reptiles, mammals and birds, well done Year 1! 

As soon as the first creature was introduced, Jasper the milk snake, the children were captivated and totally in awe. We then went on to meet two millipedes, a ferret called Sunshine and a beautiful exotic parrot who even blew us some kisses! There were some very brave children (and adults!) in Year 1 and we were very proud of their quiet and gentle behaviour around the animals.

It was so wonderful to hear the children talking about their experience all day long - a very memorable day in Year 1 all round!
