We started the day by learning about the football tournament itself. The children had some great questions and they were really interested to find out about all the different countries in the competition. Throughout the day, we spent time learning about Denmark and Slovenia; we found out lots of fun facts about them and even collaged some flags to decorate our classrooms. In the afternoon, Mrs Pine taught us all some futsal skills. The children were brilliant at controlling the ball and showing off their fancy footwork. We certainly have some future football stars in Year 1!
